Rooted in Southern California, Dragon are dedicated to creating innovative and diversified products since it’s inception back in 1993 and the release of their new Dragon Glasses marks amazing new territory for Dragon Alliance.
Constructed from double laminated zyl material, Dragon’s optical collection is stylish in shape and unrivalled in it’s material usage. One of the most unique features of the Dragon Glasses range is the custom milled metal hinges with a hidden Dragon symbol stamped on the inside of the hinge. Additionally, all Dragon Glasses feature an occipital fit temple design, rich custom colours and a classic Dragon nameplate laid flush on the inside of the temple. Encased in premium and ‘one-of-a-kind’ packaging, all Dragon RX Glasses rest luxuriously in a red suede lined case.
Using athlete inspired design as a driving force for creating new products, Dragon will name surf icon and style guru Rob Machado as the face, and hands-on ambassador of it’s optical line. Aside from major career victories in surfing’s most prestigious events, including the Pipeline Masters and the U.S. Open of Surfing, Machado displayed his music talents and interests in photography in Dragon’s “Frame of Mind” film series – a collection of short films that highlight the seldom seen moments that inspire Dragon’s top tier athletes. Designed for the sophisticated consumer with a passion for active sports, Dragon Glasses will launch in conjunction with it’s 20th Anniversary debuting 14 optical styles in custom and distinct colourways – including Tokyo Tort, Matte Black, Ox Blood and Bark.
