Ray-Ban sunglasses are iconically cool, incredibly versatile and a staple of practically any fashionista’s outfit. Beginning in 1937, Ray-Ban sunglasses have managed to stay one step ahead of the competition while providing unique eye protection from UVA/B light, and the brave spirit of the Ray-Ban sunglasses brand continues to grow with each passing season. Rock icons, models, celebrities, TV/film stars and creative geniuses across the world have embraced the bold determination of Ray-Ban, and the new collection here at Shade Station includes the RB3429 Signet, graced by the likes of Johnny Marr, as well as the newest RB3507 Aluminum Clubmaster selections to hit the shops.

Further to that, Ray-Ban sunglasses have utilised common materials like never before; velvet Erika sunglasses, leather RB2140QM Wayfarers, rubber RB4165 Justin frames, and many more have been part of the inspired collections from Ray-Ban in recent years.  Keep an eye out for the Ray-Ban Denim Wayfarer range, the frames of which are made from compressed denim for an unparalleled fit. These are sure to hit the stores very soon, and here at Shade Station we aim to please with our own collections of stunning frames.

Oakley sunglasses have long been known as revolutionary in their own right, and with their newest collections coming this autumn it is easy to see why they still come out on top. The Oakley sunglasses range takes conventional features with an innovative twist. Fascinating new designs take on the familiar models and make them as relevant as they have ever been, with Oakley’s Sliver F as a crowning example; the familiar Holbrook style is revamped for a new generation of wearers, with a piston-powered foldable stem that is both durable and revolutionary. Couple that with Oakley’s new NanOMatter and the lightweight element is enhanced even further. Oakley Sliver F sunglasses are ideal for all-day wear and are a key step in the evolution of the lifestyle sunglass.

Additional to this are the Oakley TinCan Carbon and TinFoil Carbon sunglasses, with a superbly durable and lightweight option to please the active sportsperson and the casual spectator all at once. Both the TinFoil Carbon and TinCan Carbon sunglasses come with Unobtainium earsocks, comfortable air-filled nosepads and the familiar XYZ optics and Plutonite lenses, but add a durable carbon frame for awesomely lightweight wearing. In short, the Oakley sunglasses collection is a progression of Jim Jannard’s daring spirit, and what better way to reflect this than to host some of their finest designs so far? This is exactly what we at Shade Station have done; keep checking for further updates on this amazing brand.

Tom Ford sunglasses are a high-style, high-intensity brand that really brings out the fabulous fashion qualities of their creator, Tom Ford. The ex-Gucci designer had an vision; to begin his own exclusive line of incredibly versatile, dazzlingly stylish sunglasses for a whole new set of fashionistas. Known for his sensuous designs already, Tom Ford had no problem in finding fans of his attire and his recent branching into eyewear stakes the claim at the catwalk, year on year. Utilising a muted motif, the ‘T Bar’ is a feature on every pair of Tom Ford sunglasses and guarantees a sense of charm and charisma not seen on many other fashion labels. Inventive new arrangements of the Tom Ford sunglasses brand include the Saskia, which has a stunning cat-eye look while remaining strictly retro, and the Olivier which exudes drama and craftsmanship in spades with a gorgeously smokey set of lenses in a comfortable frame. Keep looking out for the incredible Tom Ford sunglasses collections, as they continue to inspire and amaze with each passing season.

Miu Miu glasses are an integral part of Shade Station’s prescription division, and our eyewear offerings keep growing exponentially with each passing season. The wonderful ideas and incredible features of the Miu Miu brand stems from the creative mind of Miuccia Prada, known as ‘Miu Miu‘ to her friends and family. Taking over from Prada’s minimalist style, Miu Miu began in 1993 as a feminine, ultra-stylish and vibrant brand that had a sense of humour and self-deprecation thrown into the mix. This obvious detraction from the Prada ethos turned heads and this outlandish look began to influence trends on the catwalk too. Fast-forward two decades, and the Miu Miu glasses brand is still influencing the great and the good across the globe. Take a look at the MU 04NV 7S01O1 as an example of the stunning materials, kooky colour schemes and wild shapes the Miu Miu glasses brand stands for, as well as the MU 02NV 1AB1O1 which, despite the interesting frame shape, is a much more muted affair. Take a look at these two dichotomies of prescription fashion, and everything in between, with the Miu Miu glasses collection available from Shade Station.

DKNY watches are unanimously one of the most sensational brands to come out of New York, or maybe even America as a whole, in recent years. The brainchild of Donna Karan, her ‘Seven Easy Pieces’ collection took the fashion world by storm in the late 1980s and has inspired countless designers since. The DKNY watches range has an incredible sense of balance between playful modernity and dark mysticism, having garnered inspiration from Karan’s native New York as well as far-flung places like Nepal, the Australian outback, Africa and India. Thrilling contours and a clean sense of inner-city style combine in the DKNY watches collection. Ideal for travelling to far-off places, Donna Karan designed her watches with modern ideas for modern people, and it is apparent to see why. For incredible new examples available this autumn/winter, check  out the Bryant NY2230 watch which has a clean-cut, essentially urban vibe encased in an Indian style bangle design, as well as the Soho NY8861 watch which takes the chronograph design and adds a sensuous, gold-plated presence to it. Keep perusing our pages for a whole host of new models and features coming this A/W season too!

Vivienne Westwood watches are a dazzling reinterpretation of modern watch design, hearkening back to the days of rock and roll as well as moving forward into new territories. Known as one of Britain’s most influential fashion designers even today, the Vivienne Westwood watch brand takes her dynamic prowess and exhibits it for all to see; even in her 70s, Vivienne Westwood has a whole host of tricks still up her sleeve. The conventional timepiece designs are revamped for a new generation with a range of scaled, gold-plated and leather strap/bracelet options as well as the signature kooky dials and cases we have become familiar with. Take a peek at the Vivienne Westwood Berkeley Square VV115BKPP watch, which utilises a stunning purple strap with a slick, minimalist dial and a gorgeous rectangular case, as well as the Trafalgar VV108WHRD watch which hosts a fabulous round case, a glorious Coronation-themed charm and a stunning diamond-embedded dial.

Bulova watches have long been the grandmaster of intricate design, with a huge emphasis on timekeeping. This is not to say that style is secondary; the sheer precision and quality of these pieces  exude their own unique statement, and the cleverly crafted contours of the Bulova watch brand is testament to its trend-setting ways. Beginning in 1875, Joseph Bulova began by creating super-precise clocks and pocket watches that blew the competition out of the water; each individual component of every watch was made to within 1/10,000 of an inch, meaning that repairs were much easier and cheaper than making each piece from scratch. The powerful Bulova watch brand was born, and with it the advent of a new era in watchmaking; this continues today with the incredible new varieties on offer here at Shade Station. Notable pieces from their latest collections include the Bulova Men’s Dress Chronograph 97B136 watch, which has a stunning, yet subtle, dial and case with a chronograph dial that has precision in spades. Another key piece is the Bulova Diamond Gallery 96R199 watch, incorporating Arabic numerals and a stunning off-white dial with diamante detailing.

Dragon goggles are fantastically versatile and a breath of fresh air in the snowsports industry; starting as a quietly confident member of the surfing community, the ‘Dragon Alliance’ as it’s known has gone from strength to strength with a range of products across a variety of sporting disciplines. Inspired by the attitude of the snowboarders they collaborated with, Dragon began making goggles that reflected the temperament and durability of the riders themselves. Their commitment to the cause of snowboarding drove Dragon on to combine materials and use technologies that were previously unheard of in the world of snowsport. Lexan lenses, durable UVA/B/C protection and comfortable micro-fleece lining fuse together as key traits of the Dragon goggles brand, and have continued to inspire the riders they were designed for ever since. Dragon goggles of note include the NFX goggle, which protects the periphery of vision just as much as the pupillary centre; a feature vitally important for skiers and snowboarders. Coming soon to Shade Station is a goggle that will amaze even the most ardent snowsportsperson. Keep looking out for the Dragon APX2 goggle for an idea of what the next stage is. We think you’ll love the frameless ease,  revolutionary clarity and the stunningly comfortable base that holds this true goggle icon in place.

Emporio Armani jewellery takes the wonderful high glamour of the Armani brand, and adds extra emphasis on the ‘glam’ element. Effortlessly cool, the Emporio Armani jewellery line has been courted by the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Rihanna, Rafael Nadal and Eric Bana in recent years, and Giorgio Armani’s fashion nous seems almost innate with its craftsmanship and expertise. Coupled with the smooth, slickly designed casing, the diamante encrusting in Emporio Armani jewellery adds a wow-factor that other brands could only dream of. Following from the success of Armani’s ‘Power Suit’, the Emporio Armani jewellery range encapsulates luxury and winning determination all in one. Particular examples of note for our autumn/winter collections include the Pure Eagle EG3156221 necklace, which adds a rose gold-plated edge to a truly dynamic design, as well as the EGS1688040 bracelet which is a chunky, masculine take on the conventional clean cut style of the Emporio Armani jewellery brand.

Fossil accessories are as vitally important to the vintage ethos as their watches and jewellery, with a whole range of materials and fashion statements to tempt any fashionista’s palate. Wonderfully constructed from some of the finest leathers, acetates and textured metals, the mantra of ‘Long Live Vintage’ has resonated since the Fossil accessory brand’s inception in 1984. Reflecting the idea that the old becomes new again with time, each Fossil accessory item is created in traditional styles but with a distinctly modern edge. The brand itself has known amazing global success and it is apparent to see why; the design team has a stylebook of dozens of drafts for each item, and their dedication to creating the perfect accessory is key to the brand’s progression. Our most exciting pieces to arrive this season come in the form of the Explorer Crossbody ZB5255235 bag, a piece that truly accentuates the functionality of vintage bags, as well as providing a modern, almost Western American feel to it. The second significant piece to watch out for is the Erin Body Bag ZB5430001 which has a touch of the Parisienne to it; textured brass and a chic, almost rectangular shape plays host to three zipped compartments that are both functional and beautiful, a true reflection of the pioneering Fossil brand.

Finally, a sneak peek leads to our most exciting announcement yet; the Oakley goggles range is set to grow exponentially this autumn/winter with a collection of durable, exciting and superbly reliable goggles for the very best protection on the piste. Since the very beginning, Oakley has believed in ‘inventions wrapped in art’ and it is apparent to see that with the Oakley Flight Deck goggles – incorporating their very first frameless design with optional Prizm lenses to boot – as well as the A Frame 2.0 goggles which is a higher-volume, harder working progression from the original A Frame goggle. In short, the Oakley goggles range is a lesson in constant innovation from one of the greats in American sports design. Keep a lookout for the latest, most fascinating collections from this powerhouse of a brand.
